Painting Landscapes in Oil with Dr. Ginger Hicks

This is course is suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced. Students are encouraged to bring a photograph (or several to choose from) they have taken of a landcape scene as their inspriation. Students will render the image onto a canvas and paint with oils. In this class students learn to choose an effective subject, how to mix colors, to ust different oil/acrylic painting thechniques, and to evaluate their own work to refine it. Students should epect to complete one painting in 4 class sessions.
