Sewing Basics: Garment and Craft Stitching

About the Course

This class will focus on the basics of sewing for those looking to pick up a

budget-friendly and easily accessible skill. The curriculum will be focused on the basics

that can be expanded upon into many different hobbies that rely on sewing! As a

student, you will be able to choose from a predetermined list (or create a custom

combination) of projects based off your interests and what would be functional to you

after the class. You will also become familiar with the multiple stitches used in

handworked sewing, along with some basic construction techniques and concepts.

Students are encouraged to bring their own machines and fabric if desired. Studio machines and fabric are also availble for use.

You do not need to bring any materials.

Registration is required 3 days before the start of a class or workshop.

You are not registered unless paid in full.

You will need to register each person separately to get all discounts.
