An all-in session on improving throwing, working with students on their individual goals (throwing more consistently, throwing larger etc.), and introducing different methods of altering the form (collaring, bellying, and spouts). Open for students who want to work on their throwing.

Continuation of Week 1, working with the clay at a proper state of trimming and handles (pulling and handbuilding). Additional information on slip and sprig molding to further the surface decoration. Open for students who are want to work on their design and details (mixed level), come with leather soft-hard clay.

Now that the work has been bisque-fired, we'll go over the best methods of glazing, various oxides, and different application methods (glaze trailing, wax resist, and spray). Open for students who want to improve their glaze application and learn different techniques, come with bisqueware.

Post-glaze firing, we'll examine the work that has come from the kiln and identify what we like, what we expected, and what we didn't expect. We'll use the notes to understand what to do next time. Open for students who want feedback and discuss their results, come with finished work and glaze notes.
